Child Artist Response Project

The Child Artist Response Project invites artists and children to respond to each other’s creative work and provides a platform for all age collaborations. In the above example Mika, age 5, drew monster boy using his imagination which was then sent to contemporary Australian printmaker Madeleine Goodwolf who painted a direct response inspired by Mika’s image. The CARP works are published side by side to generate conversations across generations and provoke new ways of seeing professional practice and the significance of a child’s contribution to contemporary culture.
